Mother Of All

Is a progressive Death metal band, with melodic and varied elements, fronted by multi-instrumentalist Martin Haumann.

The songs of Mother of All are varied, eclectic and always exploring the artform. Ultimately the inspiration is drawn from the deep cauldron that is Metal. Lyrically Mother of All has a unique and personal approach and doesn’t shy away from dealing with difficult and contemporary issues.

Following in the trail of AOS, Mother Of All is marching forward with a recording date set for a new exciting and eclectic album. This album will feature performances of members from Lamentari, Chaoswave and Withering Surface. On the live front 2022 is likewise looking to be a productive year with several festival performances already booked.

Following the highly praised EP ”Secular Assault” Mother of All released the first full-length album “Age Of The Solipsist” in 2021 which garnered international attention and recognition (see below). Through quality content, artistic vision and musicianship Mother Of All was able to garner a lot of interest.

Age Of Solipsist

(AOS) is performed by Martin Haumann on vocals, drums and percussion and features Steve Di Giorgio (Testament, Death, Sadus) on bass and newcomer Frederik Jensen on guitars.

The debut is mixed and mastered by Hannes Grossmann/Mordor Sounds (Hate Eternal, Alkaloid, ex-Obscura, Necrophagist) and adorned with cover artwork of acclaimed Travis Smith (Opeth, Nevermore, A7X, King Diamond).

The Founder

For many years Martin Haumann has been a sought-after hard-working musician in the Danish and international music-scene, having performed with artists like Myrkur, Afsky, Timechild and Mercenary.

Most recently having lent his drumming to the Afsky album “Ofte jeg drømmer mig død” and “Sorg” as well as the album “And Yet It Moves” by Danish Hardrockers Timechild. With a background in The Royal Danish Conservatory and through a huge training in different musical disciplines, Martin is able to draw on varied and unusual influences to create a unique vision for Mother Of All.
